Hello

I’m a nonfiction video producer who turns news into mini documentaries. Currently, I produce stories for CBC Indigenous—from honing the initial idea to the last sweep of the edit. I borrow stylistic techniques from fictional film: layered sound, cinematic shots and varied pacing while prioritizing authentic storylines, clear ideas, and creative risks.

Over the past five years, I’ve earned 20 journalism awards and nominations, reached millions of viewers, and built a reputation for crafting raw footage into stories that reveal something deeper than a headline.

Before journalism, I fought wildfires in British Columbia and Australia, while studying queer and feminist theory in the off-season. I’m based in Montreal, Canada.
